A wonderful email came through recently, from a couple who’s wedding Molly attended as the owl ring bearer in May this year. Along with some lovely words, were some fabulous photo’s from their official photographer Amy Breeze, so here we are to share them with you along with a bit about the day itself.
Clare and Chris live in Switzerland, but were planning for their wedding to be held at the stunning Birtsmorton Court, Nr Malvern in Worcestershire. The wedding was scheduled for Saturday 27th of May 2017 but due the distance, Clare’s sister Sophie, who was also chief bridesmaid, was our point of contact.
Birtsmorton Court is an incredible venue, steeped in history. The White Garden (where Clare and Chris were hoping to hold the ceremony before the rain intervened), features extensive ironwork and gazebo which contains a wide variety of white shrubs and perennials. The arches are covered with Iceberg roses, jasmine, white clematis and wisteria.
Luckily, despite the weather being unkind on the day, Clare & Chris had a rather grand contingency plan! The ceremony was relocated to the ‘The Great Hall’. Being the oldest room in the house, The Great Hall is simply stunning. Featuring a large open fireplace and timbered walls, with a great coat of arms painted on the plaster about the paneling. Along with the beautiful William and Mary ceiling which was added in the late 17th Century.
Best man Stephen Jones received Molly when the time came during the ceremony. We love the guests reaction at this point, there are such an array of responses and this picture captures that moment perfectly!
Luckily the rain stopped in time for us all to get outside for Molly to have some photographs with Clare, Chris and any of the guests that also wanted to meet Molly personally and have a hold of her.
Dear Steve and Debbie,
Chris and I just wanted to drop you a note to say a big thank you for the fantastic service you provided on our wedding day, 27.5.2017 at Birtsmorton Court. Molly was an absolute star, so beautiful and she delivered the rings perfectly! Our photographer got some stunning pictures of Molly which I’ve attached now for you to enjoy – in one of them she looks like a little “diva” with her eyes almost closed 🙂 Thanks a lot for making our wedding day so special with beautiful Molly.
Best wishes, Clare and Chris
Thank you also to you two! We so enjoyed being there with Molly and seeing her add an extra little something to your special day. We wish you all the very best for your future together as husband and wife.
