On Friday 30th March 2018 Molly the owl ring bearer made her way to Tortworth Court (with us – her trusty assistants!) for the wedding of Mitchell and Georgia.
De Vere Tortworth Court is an incredible wedding venue set in Gloucestershire, set in 30 acres of country estate grounds with access to an extensive arboretum – perfect for wedding photographs. Tortworth Court marries Victorian architecture with contemporary elegance to perfection. The wedding ceremony of Mitchell and Georgia took place in the Orangery, a beautifully grand conservatory built in 1874, which offers an ornamental glass ceiling and can accommodate up to 100 guests.
Christine – Georgia’s Mum, had contacted us and secretly arranged for Molly to be a part of the ceremony, as Georgia has a love of birds and animals. Mitchell was receiving Molly with the rings himself and we had a quick run through with him before all the guests started arriving just to ensure that he was comfortable with everything when the big moment came!
Once again the staff were brilliant with helping us to keep it a secret. They were also on hand to arrange a space for us indoors as unfortunately, the rain could not be held back on the day. Because of this we were still able to mingle with the guests and allow them the opportunity to meet Molly and find out all about her.
However, Mitchell and Georgia did have a little break in the weather which allowed them to get outdoors for some photographs in the stunning grounds with Molly, before heading off for their portraits.
We had a wonderful time at your wedding guys, and we wish you all the very best for your future together – a lifetime full of love and laughter.
