Saturday 4th June 2016 was a beautiful sunny day and we were lucky enough to be at the magical Berkeley Castle with Molly the owl ring bearer, for the beautiful wedding of pilots Sam Lashbrooke and Anna Kalata.
Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire, is a spectacular venue, an ancient fortress steeped in history and set in an estate of approximately 6,000 acres including formal gardens and mediaeval deer park. Luckily the weather was perfect so the ceremony took place outside in the stunning grounds.
Before the ceremony, we hid away in a room opposite The Great Hall, where Sam & Anna’s reception was to take place. It was here we came across this fabulous painting of a falcon hanging on the wall.
The ceremony was performed by a Celebrant, as they were already legally married, and Molly delivered the rings to Sam. Anna is Polish, so in order to ensure that everyone was included in the ceremony, Anna’s relatives were given headphones and her bridesmaid translated everything for them.
After the ceremony the guests were all treated to a tour of the castle and grounds and we also mingled with the guests during the photographs. We met some lovely people who were really interested in Molly and wanted to hold and photograph her… she was of course the consumate professional and posed wonderfully!
Congratulations again Sam and Anna, we wish you all the very best for your future together and thank you for allowing us to be part of your day.
Love Debbie, Steve and Molly
